I swear to god if you reset my timer to boot this guy one hour before he is about to hit his one day limit I am going to lose it.  TWO DAYS IN A ROW!

    Seriously.

How about scheduling these interruptions instead of just bringing the service down whenever?

I’m wondering if you could take a poll of the timezones of the players, and then try to schedule it for late at night of the majority of the players.  As it stands, you seem to be doing them right when the North American players are on lunch break from work.  :)

Hmm, you guys moving out of beta and requiring donations to get preferred player status? What will be the cost then?

This feature will simply allow you to add other players to your personal preferred player list and also see who prefers you. No costs there :)

As for timing – Weewar is still under development and invite-only. We’d like to maintain our momentum and for that we need to occasionally update on short notice. We will however venture to improve our scheduling and give more notice asap!

Seeing as it’s invite-only, what are the chances my buddies will get on? What determines if someone gets an invite or not? Sorry if this has been answered already.

bo0ork, you can simply invite them to a new game (create a new game and enter their email address as the player’s name.

    Voila, buddy’s invited.

It does stink that timers get reset.  But I just wanted to remind people that this is a free game.  And updates need to happen.  We should just have patience.  It is free.  No need to get all excited…
