New features

[UPDATE: All done. Weewar is up and running again!]

We will update Weewar today (time in your local time zone). We expect the update to take around 15 minutes. Included are a number of small fixes and a few new features, too:

  • Games can now be set so that only players with a specific rating can join.
  • If you go over time the other players can now skip your turn (they can still kick you from the game, too)
  • And much requested: There is now a 3 month gift subscription (vs only 12 month)

    Hi

    I’m not sure if this is the right place but I’ve noticed a couple of bugs. Everyone now seems to on pro accounts and in some games, although not all, the coloured bars by comments in the chat window have been greyed out.

    Seconding team play (I do this among friends, but the zone of control issues are still a pain) and return of the replay functionality (a big reason I started playing WeeWar, tired of other browser-based games in which I didn’t know what had happened since my last turn). Otherwise, thanks for the great work.

    the replay mentioned in the comments here isn´t that important for me, but teamplay would be awesome! I had some ideas if there should be some new terrain tiles in the future, check my profile if interested. cheers cas

    Great work!
    Are you planning to implement a jabber notification type? Eg. user has ended his turn, etc…
