I’ve been sad all day.
Is there an ETA? I miss my Weewar when it’s gone… :-(
war has no downtime! i’m about ready to march on over to gjaddis’s house as a trooper and capture his base.
Ooh noes, already more than 12 hours… I’m starting to shake… out of curiousity, does down time like this stop the clock on all games so people don’t end up over time on their turns?

I can’t wait to take my turns in all 14 games when it does come back on…should take me half a day at least hehe, come back soon Weewar, wee miss you.

i worry…while we wait…that InspectorHound is plotting against my people and conspiring towards our downfall and things of that nature
InspectorHound came by my desk yesterday afternoon muttering a bunch of gibberish about “the downfall” and “gjaddis.” I didn’t think much of it at the time, but now it all makes sense…. horrible horrible sense.

The only good thing about Weewar being down is that it gives me some great comments like this to chuckle over.
If the inevitable *does* happen, where are we all going to meet to figure out our next game? Should we all sign up on darkbee’s forum and make a thread or something?

It’s early days yet though. I was planning on setting up a new Weewar community site but I ran into some technical difficulties with my host (that they’ve proven to be very ineffectual at resolving) and now Daithi has created the above site, it might seem a little redundant.

It looks like it won’t be until at least Monday that Weewar is back up. Sorry for the downtime. Not physically being at EA makes this kind of troubleshooting difficult.

as for myself, i have finally stopped waking up the middle of the night worrying about what dpilgrim is plotting while i sleep.

Funny as gjaddis mentioned, I am sleeping a lot better at night as I am not dreaming of my next move. I do want my fix though so please get her fixed soon.

This is bad. I dreamt last night that weewar was back up, but it’s not. I’m halucinating! Yikes! I’m going crazy!

Perhaps I’m an optimist, but I think it is a bit premature to start asking if Weewar is gone. Considering how big EA is it is totally reasonable that the simplest fixes, even something like restarting a database, could be hard to do. This is especially tough because Ryan isn’t on site.
